This one was to scrap in a style foreign to you and use another language in the title or journaling.
I'm not usually one to create frilly, girly pages, even though 2/3 of my kids are girls.
The title means "how beautiful" in French.

Challenge 88 one was on something we made. Hmm... easy enough. I make TONS of stuff. The concept was inspired by a video I saw a couple of years ago with a woman doing a tour of the things she made in her house. I've been looking for 30 minutes and can't find it to link here. I'll keep trying!
LOVE the Crate Restoration papers that I used here... can't wait to play with them more!
I'm also submitting this over at Scrapjacked. The original layout was amazing!

Mini book: The Journey Home
My sister and her husband left today to go pick up their new daughter from China. They are naming her Rylie, and she is 21 months old. They have been planning and waiting for three long years. I can't wait to meet her. These are a few pages from a book that I made for them.

"Home Ec" challenge
We could only use 12 items on this layout, had to include stitching, and needed to use one of several color palletes. It was hard for me... I kept wanting to include more, but I love the way it turned out.
OH- and I used the Dixie Pieces Krafty Lime kit for this one!

Science challenge
Scrapdango is hosting a whole set of school-based challenges this month. This was my "science" submission. It had to include an animal, so I used pictures from our day trip to Dinosaur Park over the summer.

Journaling Junkie: Achievements
This fortnight's Journaling Junkie challenge is to create a layout about something that you never thought you could do. When and how you achieved it, how it made you feel, where you can go from here.
Journaling: That “new baby” smell. Washing tiny clothes. The way they shutter when they stretch. Nursing. Even changing diapers! I love every minute of babyhood. I went from wanting two kids to four before I even had three. But, my pregnancies have all had their issues. Can I handle the stress of another?
I was inspired by this layout.
