My sister is running a conference next month for teenagers and asked me to create a kit so that they could do some faithbooking while they were there.

Mini book: The Journey Home

My sister and her husband left today to go pick up their new daughter from China. They are naming her Rylie, and she is 21 months old. They have been planning and waiting for three long years. I can't wait to meet her. These are a few pages from a book that I made for them.

Here is what I came up with...

New Family messy book

A friend of mine is getting married in a few weeks. He is blending himself, his son, and his daughter (my daughter's best friend) with his future wife and her two daughters. His first wife died last year of a brain tumor, the same thing that I lost my father to. He was a rock through her entire illness, and his children have come through that tragedy better because of it. They are so excited to start their lives as this new family. I created this book mostly for the kids to document times when they are awestruck by this journey. The album is a mixture of acrylic and chipboard, so forgive the rather strange way that some pages show through others.

December Daily finally finished!

Here it is... an album intended to be finished on December 31, and I just finished it a few minutes ago. You can find out more about Ali Edwards' December Daily project here.

And, yeah, I know the picture is crap. I was holding the baby at the time. :)

Family mini album

Early last month, my best friend from elementary school, Becky, did a photo shoot of our new family. The pictures turned out FABULOUSLY, and we now have them hanging all over our house. I just HAD to do a little mini-album, also. Here are a few of the layouts...

The tree book is Maya Road, papers are all Prima, and embellishments are mostly Basic Gray.

Travel journal

My family loves to travel, so I wanted to make a journal where we could jot notes and place small pictures and mementos. I love the way this cover turned out, and I hope you do, too!
