And, yeah, I know the picture is crap. I was holding the baby at the time. :)

Introducing: My Scrapbooking Supplies
I am esctatic to announce that I have just been asked to join the design team at My Scrapbooking Supplies! I just adore their motto: "A day without scrapbooking is like a day without sunshine." I'll be making three layouts a month and participating in their challenges. It promises to be super exciting, and I can't wait to share more with you as time goes on. Be sure to stop by their site for a chance to win a Cricut cartridge.

CHA!!!
I've been so excited to see the new things that are coming out at CHA. My favorites include Tim Holtz's new alterations dies and the new October Afternoon papers.
Not that I'll buy TOO much... I'm on a mission to use a LOT of the things I already have before buying a lot of new things. Trying to be responsible!

Layout about myself
What?!? I next to never create something about ME, but I accepted the challenge this week and wound up with this...
The Garbage Pail Kid card just makes me happy (including a bit of my childhood on a current layout was just fun). I'm so glad that someone on a forum started a discussion about childhood silliness a few weeks ago.

Baby's first album
For my newborn's album, among other pages, I am doing a page each month that utilizes the same basic layout: a patterned paper layered on top of cardstock, one 5x7 photo that lifts up to reveal journaling, and three sets of embellishments on the side. They aren't meant to show off much creativity but rather give her an idea of what each month was like with her as they happen. Maybe you have some other part of your life where you can incorporate a similar EASY layout series...
Notice that this is already in the album. Whenever I place hidden journaling on a layout, I cut/readhere the page protector so that the journaling can be read without the page being removed from the book. I don't want the pages to be damaged from repeated removal or the journaling to never be found. I know plenty of people that leave theirs hidden, and that's perfectly fine. This is just my personal preference.

Project 365
I was one of the lucky people to snag Becky Higgins' Project 365 last year, and I did a fair job at keeping it up. I just finished it last night (I always send out my pics to Snapfish to be printed, so I don't complete the pages RIGHT away). Here is my final page...
I also ordered Project Life this year, and I'm doing the journaling day by day so that I don't have a month of journaling to do once my pictures finally arrive in the mail.
It's not the only way that I scrap, of course, but it has it's benefits as a quick and dirty life-at-a-glance book.

Family mini album
Early last month, my best friend from elementary school, Becky, did a photo shoot of our new family. The pictures turned out FABULOUSLY, and we now have them hanging all over our house. I just HAD to do a little mini-album, also. Here are a few of the layouts...
