I love even more that I finally scrapped these pictures... this party was WORK!

Surgery and homecoming

I finally sat down to work on these.

In April of last year, my youngest had kidney surgery. I wrote out the journaling at that time but just couldn't make myself get these scrapped.

She's 100% fine, by the way, but it was such an emotional thing that I almost didn't want to reconnect with those feelings.

Baseball layouts for my husband

My husband is a baseball fiend. He loves it. I... don't (though I do like watching our son play). But, I still wanted to make these for him!

Roanoke

I went to college at Virginia Tech and went up to the Roanoke Star several times with friends.

My youngest sister lived in Roanoke until very recently, and, last year, my husband and I took the kids to the star.

Love when things come full circle!
