My Scrapdango challenge for the month

I posted my January challenge over at Scrapdango. It's a color challenge, and to make it really easy, I'll let you know that you can use Crate Paper's Restoration line to fit the criteria. Here is my example:

I hope you'll play along!

Last projects before Christmas

A few more Christmas projects and one for the new year!

This year, I decided to bundle each child's gifts together (I love the look, and it prevents snooping!), and I added a tag with their names.

Each of the kids drew a name of one of their cousins to shop for, and I added a little pad of note paper (using up those scraps again) with their name on the front.

Lastly, we have a book with a small Catholic/Christian fact that we've read during our family prayer time each night, but we are almost done with it. We decided to create a gratitude journal for the next year to replace it. To make this, I repurposed one of Z's binders from last year that was falling apart... tore apart the front, spine, and back and re-supported it with chipboard and my best friend lately, my hot glue gun. I then decorated it with a healthy dose of Restoration by Crate Paper and a bit of Bazzill, Stickles, and Liquid Pearls. I still need to Mod Podge it, but here's what it looks like...

I wish you a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Christmas coupon book

Two years ago, I made a coupon book for each of the kids of little things that they could redeem on their terms. They think it was the best present they've ever gotten, so I'm bringing it back this year. Here are some images.

All product used (with the exception of black cardstock and jump rings) is Crate Paper.

Journaling Junkie: Changes

Changes in one year is the topic this time.

I used product from tons of different places for this one, which was pretty fun.

The "B. You" tag was appropriate because we call my daughter "B". It was from a Target toy, and my sister was the one that told me I should keep it for a page... she should totally scrapbook!

Journaling:
Bella, You've gone through so much change every year, but you continue to stay my beautiful, sweet, smart girl. I love to watch you grow, but if I could keep you little forever, I would do it in a heartbeat! I love you!
